Street.co.uk: Overview and Connection

Connect Inventory Base to Street.co.uk using an API token, then review your integration settings before syncing properties, inspections, contacts and reports.

Written by Adelle Naidoo

The Street.co.uk integration helps reduce manual data entry by transferring information between Street and Inventory Base.

Once connected, you can control what imports into Inventory Base and what is sent back to Street.

Review Your Settings Before Syncing

Connecting the integration does not automatically mean every Street.co.uk record will import.

Before running your first sync, review:

  • Property category

  • Property statuses

  • Inspection statuses

  • Service level types

  • Branch selection

  • Daily sync settings

  • Contact and landlord import settings

  • Report settings

  • Action settings

ℹ️ See Street.co.uk: Property and inspection sync settings for a full explanation of the available import filters.

What to Check if You Cannot Connect

The API token is not accepted

Check that:

  • The complete API token was copied

  • There are no extra spaces before or after the token

  • The application was created in the correct Street.co.uk account

  • The API token scope is set to Open API

The integration shows as connected but nothing imports

The connection may be working, but your settings could be excluding the records you expect to see.

Check that you have selected:

  • The correct category

  • At least one property status

  • At least one inspection status

  • The relevant service level types

  • The correct branches

You can then select Sync properties or Sync inspections to run another manual sync.

The integration settings do not appear

Refresh the Inventory Base page and return to Settings > Integrations.

If the integration still does not show as connected, check that the API token was entered successfully.
