Street.co.uk: Contact and Landlord Import Settings

Choose which current or previous Street.co.uk contacts and landlords import into Inventory Base and control their report, appointment, signature and SMS settings.

Written by Adelle Naidoo

The Street.co.uk integration can import owners, landlords and tenants linked to properties.

The Contact Import Settings and Landlord Contact Import Settings control which records are imported and how they are configured for inspection communications in Inventory Base.

Before You Start

Before changing these settings:

  • Make sure the Street integration shows as Connected

  • Check that the relevant contacts are linked to the property or tenancy in Street.co.uk

  • Decide whether you want to import current contacts, previous contacts or both

  • Review which communications imported contacts should receive

To find these settings, go to Settings > Integrations and locate the connected Street integration.

Contact and Landlord Settings

The integration provides separate settings for:

  • Contact Import Settings

  • Landlord Contact Import Settings

This allows you to configure tenant or contact records separately from landlord records.

Each section includes the same communication and import options.

Choose Which Contacts to Import

Include Current

Turn on Include Current to import contacts or landlords linked to the current tenancy.

This is useful when you only need the people currently associated with the property.

Include Previous

Turn on Include Previous to import contacts or landlords linked to previous tenancies.

This may be useful when historical contact details are needed in Inventory Base.

ℹ️ Notes

  • You can turn on both settings if you need current and previous records.

  • If neither option is enabled, the relevant contacts may not import.

Communication Settings

The communication options control how imported contacts are configured when they are added to Inventory Base.

These options must be configured separately for contacts and landlords.

Setting

What It Does

Deliver completed report

Sends the contact a copy of the completed inspection report

Notify of appointment date

Notifies the contact of the scheduled appointment date and changes made to it

Pre-fill signature details

Adds the contact’s details for signing and sends the completed report for signature

Receive SMS

Sends SMS notifications about the appointment date and any updates or changes

Run a Contact Sync

Contacts import as part of the related property or inspection sync.

After reviewing your settings:

  1. Confirm that the correct current and previous options are enabled.

  2. Review the communication settings.

  3. Select Sync properties to import eligible property contacts.

  4. Select Sync inspections where you also need inspection-related contacts to import.

ℹ️ Your property, branch, category and status filters still apply.

Changing the Settings Later

If you change these options, future imports will use the updated configuration.

Changing an integration setting may not automatically update contact preferences that were already imported.

Review existing contact records in Inventory Base if their communication settings also need to change.

What To Check If Contacts Do Not Import

Check that:

  • The Street integration shows as Connected

  • The property is included by your selected sync filters

  • The contact is linked to the correct property or tenancy in Street.co.uk

  • Include Current or Include Previous is enabled

  • The correct branch is selected

  • A property or inspection sync has been run

If one person is missing, check whether they are recorded as current or previous in Street.co.uk.

What To Check If a Contact Does Not Receive Communications

Check that:

  • The relevant communication option is turned on

  • The contact imported successfully

  • Their email address or mobile number is correct

  • The contact is linked to the inspection

  • The inspection has reached the stage that triggers the communication

For completed report or signature emails, also confirm that the report has been completed.
