Send Actions as Maintenance Requests
⚠️ Active Tenancy Requirement
Street.co.uk can only create maintenance requests for properties with an active tenancy.
If an action is sent for an imported property without an active tenancy, the maintenance request will not be created in Street.co.uk.
Before trying again, check the property and tenancy details in Street.co.uk.
Inspection actions created in Inventory Base can be sent to Street.co.uk as maintenance requests.
Use Post Actions On to choose when this happens.
Option | What It Does |
Never | Actions are not sent to Street.co.uk |
Action Created | An action is sent when it is created in Inventory Base |
Inspection Completed | Actions are sent when the inspection is completed |
What Information Is Sent With an Action?
The Street.co.uk maintenance request can include:
The action name
The report section and item
The property address
Action comments
Responsibility
Cost
The inspection conduct date
The date reported
The reporting source
The request appears in Street.co.uk with a Pending status.
How Approved Supplier Assignment Works
When an inspection imports from Street.co.uk, Inventory Base checks whether the Street.co.uk inspector matches an approved supplier.
For the inspection to be assigned automatically:
The approved supplier must already exist in Inventory Base
The approved supplier’s name must match the Street.co.uk inspector’s name
The approved supplier’s email address must match the Street.co.uk inspector’s email address
ℹ️ Notes
Both the name and email address must match.
If the details do not match, the inspection will not be automatically assigned to that approved supplier.
What To Check If a Report Does Not Upload
Check that:
The Street integration shows as Connected
Upload Report Deliverable is turned on
The inspection is linked to a property imported from Street.co.uk
The inspection report has been completed
The report PDF is available in Inventory Base
Also check the property’s documents in Street.co.uk to confirm whether the PDF has already been added.
What To Check If an Action Does Not Appear in Street.co.uk
Check that:
The Street integration shows as Connected
Post Actions On is not set to Never
The selected trigger has occurred
The property was imported from Street.co.uk
The property has an active tenancy
The action is available on the Inventory Base inspection
If Inspection Completed is selected, the actions will not be sent before the inspection is completed.
After checking the settings, open Maintenance > Requests in Street.co.uk and look for the request under the relevant property.
What To Check If an Approved Supplier Is Not Assigned
Check that:
The inspection was imported from Street.co.uk
The inspector is assigned to the inspection in Street.co.uk
The approved supplier exists in Inventory Base
The approved supplier’s name matches the Street.co.uk inspector’s name
The approved supplier’s email address matches the Street.co.uk inspector’s email address
💡 TIP: Check both fields carefully. Matching only the name or only the email address is not enough.
