When connected, the Survey Booker integration allows you to:

  • Send inspection jobs from Survey Booker into Inventory Base

  • Automatically create inspections from bookings

  • Sync completed PDF reports back to Survey Booker

This reduces manual data entry and keeps both systems aligned.

Step 1: Get Your Survey Booker Webhook URL

  1. Log in to Survey Booker

  2. Navigate to:
Settings → Integrations → Report Writing Integrations → Inventory Base

  3. Configure:

  • Which job types should be sent to Inventory Base

  • Mapping between:

    • Survey Booker users → Inventory Base users

    • Survey Booker job types → Inventory Base templates

Step 2: Connect Survey Booker in Inventory Base

  1. Go to Settings in Inventory Base

  2. Click the Integrations tab

  3. Scroll to Survey Booker

  4. Click Connect Survey Booker

  5. Paste the Survey Booker Webhook URL

  6. Save to connect

Step 3: Complete Setup in Survey Booker

  1. Return to Survey Booker

  2. Copy the Access Token (API Key) from your Inventory Base integration page

  3. Paste this into Survey Booker

  4. Add the Inventory Base webhook URL into Survey Booker:
    https://api.inventorybase.co.uk/

Step 4: Confirm Connection

Once successfully connected, you will see a green confirmation banner in Inventory Base.

Important Notes

  • Job types and templates must be correctly mapped

  • Inspections are only created once sent from Survey Booker

  • Reports sync back only when marked Complete

  • The integration relies on correct setup in both systems
