InventoryBase Live is a safe and secure way for inventory clerks, property managers and landlords to ‘visit’ and conduct inspections of the property remotely. Service providers will be able to view the property virtually without the need to enter the home, helping to keep you safe, maintain social distancing but still provide landlords and managing agents with vital information to keep the property and tenants safe and secure.

To begin, as the participant, you will have received an email similar to the following

This email contains a link for you to download the Apple app or the Android app along with a unique code.

To connect to the live session for the agreed time, open the app and enter your unique code, or click on the Join Call button from your email whilst using your mobile device. You will only be able to access this 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time.

When you are ready, click on the Start Call button

Once the Viewer has joined, the live video stream will begin.

As the participant, you will have full control of the inspection and can leave the session at any time. The service provider will direct you around the property, ask questions and advise you when to take any photos by selecting the central button.

It is worth noting that every time the app is closed, you will leave the live stream. Every time the app is opened, you will be required to enter the code, or use the original link to connect, which will remain active until 1 day after the arranged date.

Once the call is complete, simply leave the call and all photos will have automatically been uploaded. No data or information is saved on the app once the streaming stops. The viewer will then complete the rest of the report and send it to you to review and sign.
