Lock Sections

Allows template creators to fully lock the structure of a section.
Locked sections cannot have their names, items, or layout edited during report completion.

Why this matters:

  • Prevents accidental changes during inspections.

  • Ensures contractors or new team members follow exact template rules.

  • Eliminates inconsistencies across multiple inspectors or branches.

  • Guarantees report structure remains aligned with internal or client requirements.

  • Ideal for organisations needing strict compliance, auditing, or ISO-aligned processes.

Allows Pro users to decide whether a section appears on the final PDF or Web Report.

Why This Matters

  • Keep internal notes, scratch sections, or draft findings hidden

  • Useful for walkthrough inspections, training, or internal QA workflows

  • Helps teams design templates that support internal processes without cluttering client-facing reports

Allows template designers to mark specific fields as mandatory when completing the report.

Why this matters:

  • Prevents inspectors from missing critical details.

  • Ensures every report meets internal quality standards.

  • Reduces follow-up work and incomplete reports.

  • Supports compliance workflows (e.g., mandatory smoke alarm check, meter reading, photos).

  • Guarantees consistent data capture across multi-branch teams.
